Catherine MacGregor
Biography
Catherine MacGregor is Group Chief Executive Officer and Board Member of ENGIE. Since joining in January 2021, she has led the ENGIE Group with the conviction that the energy transition has to be positive and desirable for all.
Throughout her career, spent entirely in the energy sector, Catherine has held multiple international leadership and executive positions. From 2019 to 2020, she was a member of the TechnipFMC Executive Committee and head of Technip Energies, the engineering activities entity, whose IPO she notably led. Prior to this, she worked for 23 years at Schlumberger, where she held various positions including operational engineer, Group Vice President in charge of HR, and finally President of several of the Group’s entities such as Drilling and Europe & Africa.
In December 2023, Catherine MacGregor joined the Microsoft Board as an independent board member. Actively involved in the World Economic Forum, she is a member of its Alliance of CEO Climate Leaders.
Catherine MacGregor graduated as an engineer from Ecole Centrale Paris (Centrale Supélec).
